On a quiet morning outside a historic church in the Marietta square, Josh & Estefania whispered emotional vows to one another just as the rain stopped falling—leaving just them. A quote from the bride “We want the church location to be more serious and intimate. We want to look whimsical and magical on a church with a dark academia style (like our favorite book, Babel by R.F. Kuang), with a vibe that the city is lonely and the only ones existing in that moment is us”. And that got just that, in fact it had rained so hard until 15 minutes before we started leaving the square quite and a bit “lonely”.
The beautiful thing about eloping is that it is completely up to what you are your partner want to do. There is no agenda.. no timeline… just focusing on you and your partner. I would encourage anyone who is eloping to consider what is important to you as a couple. How do you want to spend that day? Do you want to have breakfast together before you go back to your home/hotel and get ready together? You could make it an all day thing and really take it all in, you could for a morning hike, grab an afternoon coffee at your go to place and read your vows at sunset. Or maybe you want to have a 10 day trip adventuring around Switzerland, that is AWESOME, DO IT!! Just take me with you, hahaha
